UKG Monthly Meetings

UKG monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. Be sure to check the club calendar for updates and meeting topics.

Our regular meeting location is Bubblehouse Brewing, 2121 Ogden Ave in Lisle; map here.

The meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. with brief announcements and/or a discussion of club business. After the business, the rest of the meeting is a bit less structured. We socialize, meet new friends and old ones, taste each other's latest brews, and trade advice. We may also have a small group Tech Talk discussion and occasional mini-competitions.

Everyone is welcome at our meetings...members and visitors. You don't have to be a homebrewer! Even if you're only thinking of brewing your first beer, stop by and let us help you get started.

VERY IMPORTANT RULE: absolutely NO commercial beer may be brought to monthly meetings. You can bring all the homebrew you want, but no commercial brews.

UKG Technical Sessions

UKG Tech Talk sessions are held as a breakout group during our monthly meetings. If you're interested in the topic, join in. And, if you have questions or ideas and need help, feel free to bring them up at the meetings.

UKG Social Nights

UKG Social Nights are held every month or so. The location and time vary from month-to-month and are announced on our club calendar, in the Knewsletter and at the monthly meeting. We look for brewpubs and draft beer bars with outstanding selections all around DuPage, Eastern Kane, and Western Cook counties. Occasionally, we will substitute another event, such as a pub crawl, for Social Night.

UKG Board Meetings

UKG board meetings are held quarterly, depending on the business at hand. Board meetings are open to all members but, in order to help move things along so we can all go have a beer, we ask that non-board members only attend if they have an issue to bring before the board.
