At Riverlands, we brew the beer that we love. We’re inspired both by balance, and the lack thereof. We appreciate beers of all kinds, from clean, crisp lagers, to the huge hop aroma and flavor of a New England Style IPA, thick flavored stouts, and tart, fruity sours. We refuse to pigeonhole ourselves into one style or simply follow the latest trends. We pour ourselves into each batch we make, each glass we fill. You’ll never find a beer from Riverlands that was not obsessed over from the time the recipe was constructed, to the moment it finds its way to your table.

Modern Sensory Science and the Art of Homebrewing
Randy Mosher has spent the last six years in his writer’s dungeon researching and writing a book called Your Tasting Brain: A Sensory Approach to Wine, Beer and Other Pleasures, which covers every imaginable aspect of tasting and flavor creation. Really two sides of the same coin, understanding these two activities are key to brewing delicious beer. The science has been moving very rapidly over the last decade or two, so there’s something new—and useful— here for every level of brewer.
About Randy Mosher
